Terms of Service
Effective from 2 November 2026
These terms govern your use of the borocode website, dashboard, APIs and hosting services (the “Services”), operated by the person or business named under “Operator and grievance contact” below (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or paying for a plan you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Delivery & Provisioning Policy.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you use the Services for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
Your account and API keys
Provide accurate account information and keep your password and API keys secret. Activity made with your credentials is treated as activity from your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access; you can revoke and recreate API keys from the dashboard at any time.
Acceptable use
Use the Services only where you have the right and legal basis to do so. You must follow applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and respect website terms, access restrictions and third-party rights. You must not use the Services to:
- access systems or content without authorisation, or bypass logins, paywalls, CAPTCHAs or other access controls;
- collect personal data unlawfully, or collect sensitive data without a lawful basis;
- infringe copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property;
- host or distribute malware, phishing pages, illegal content, or content that is obscene, defamatory or harmful to children;
- send spam, run denial-of-service attacks, or deliberately overload any system, including ours.
The data extraction API and the automation code we deliver perform ordinary HTTP/HTTPS requests to publicly available pages. It does not provide proxy rotation or CAPTCHA/bot-protection bypass, and it does not grant permission to access any third-party website. You are responsible for the URLs you submit, the content you host and how you use the data you receive.
Automation code delivered through GitHub is licensed to you for your own use while you have an active plan; it requires a valid borocode API key to run. You may not resell or publish it.
We may suspend access where reasonably needed to investigate abuse, protect the Services or comply with law or a lawful order. Where practical, we will notify you and explain the reason.
Plans, prices and payment
Plans are prepaid for 30 days and are priced in Indian rupees (INR). The price shown for a plan is the total amount charged at checkout, with the tax treatment described on the pricing page. Plans do not renew automatically; renewals and plan switches need a new payment. Payments are processed by Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd.; we do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank credentials.
If you switch plans before your current plan expires, the remaining paid time is converted into additional time on the new plan as described in your dashboard. Usage limits and included resources are listed on the pricing page. Unused requests do not carry over to the next period.
Fair use of “unlimited” plans
“Unlimited” requests or deploys means we do not set a fixed monthly count. It is still subject to fair use: we may rate-limit traffic that harms the Services or other customers, such as sustained abnormal bursts or abusive targets. We will contact you before any lasting restriction, and if we cannot reasonably serve your usage we will refund the unused part of your plan.
Hosted content and takedown
For hosting plans, you are responsible for the content you deploy. As required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you must not host content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual property, impersonates another person, threatens the unity or security of India, contains malware, or is harmful to children. Anyone can report such content to the grievance officer below. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours, resolve them within 15 days, and act within the shorter timelines the law requires for certain content, including removal on a lawful government or court order.
Service availability
We work to keep the Services available, but maintenance, network failures, third-party providers or events outside our control can interrupt them. We do not guarantee that any third-party website will respond to or allow automated requests. Hosting is provided on third-party cloud infrastructure (such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or Cloudflare) that we set up and manage for you; we do not own physical servers, and outages at those providers are outside our control. See the Delivery & Provisioning Policy.
Your content and our property
You keep all rights to the content you host and the data you lawfully collect. You give us only the permission needed to store, process and transmit it to provide the Services. The borocode software, website, documentation and brand belong to us; these terms do not transfer them to you.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Except as stated in these terms or required by law, the Services are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the 30 days before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for reasonable losses and legal costs arising from a third-party claim caused by your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the Services.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms by posting a revised version here with a new effective date. Changes do not apply to a plan period you have already paid for unless the law requires it. You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach or where required to protect users, the Services or comply with law; if we terminate without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current plan.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first through the grievance details below so we can try to resolve the issue. Subject to your rights as a consumer, courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction over disputes.
